Welcome

Welcome to my "new" blog. Yes, you read correctly "new" blog. I had already started a blog on a very well-known blogging platform, but the totally outdated UI and usability really kept giving me problems. Fortunately, I recently got myself a very cheap VPS and created my new blog there using Ghost running in Kubernetes. I may also blog soon about how I set it up. At first i used the standard Casper theme, but i quickly realized that it is not really useful, especially for wider screens. After a short internet search I found a modified version called Casper "wide edition", which besides a few nice changes also scales very well on wider screens. Thanks a lot for this great Theme. :) But now back to the actual topic. I myself am an enthusiastic IT person and am interested in pretty much everything IT. It gives me great pleasure to study new technologies and if possible to implement them in my small and modest home lab. So if you are also interested in IT topics like OpenSource, Kubernetes, Linux, virtualization and storage, then this is the right place.
